ReveNews is over ten years old and the content dates back to a time well before platforms such as MovableType or Wordpress were created. In fact, ReveNews has gone from being a threaded discussion site to a forum to a group blog. This next evolution will also incorporate some of the group blogging aspects but include other streams of content. So, both the work involved in getting the old content moved over to the new system, as well as creating the new system itself, has been a mighty chore. All things considered, things have gone pretty smooth so far. Why change ReveNews at all? What will the new ReveNews look like? ReveNews will have many of the same group blogging features and functions as before (we'll be on Wordpress instead of MovableType, however), and also include streams of content from places like Twitter, YouTube, Kyte, Jaiku, Pownce, uStream, etc. This is literally cutting edge community blog thinking, but the innovations will only enhance ReveNews already stellar history.
